Extremely annoying. The contents are too simple. Uninstalled immediately.
Great for true beginners
If you have never ever programmed in any language, then start here. It is slow going but each if his 40 modules is kept short and sweet. I used to teach and tutor math in college. Teaching programming reminds me of how I taught basic skills math or remedial math. I started with the assumption that the student was intimidated by math due to prior poor teaching. At least half the job was just getting them comfortable at learning. This tutorial takes a similar approach. This guy speaks so slowly and clearly that you *have* to understand it. He doesnt overload you with with crap and doesnt get techie or anything like that. Most importantly, he is not condescending at all. He speaks to you like a friend whos trying to help you. If I could give him 10 stars I would. Hopefully he has some more courses that I can take. I would be glad to pay for them. This guy is worth his weight in gold. Believe me, I know from teaching subjects that people consider difficult how good this guy really is. Oh and I dont know who he is so this is truly an unbiased review. Great job. At age 63 I am finally going to learn how to program. Thanks man. For some reason I was always afraid of programming due to a poor experience in trying to learn Basic nearly 35 years ago. Now I feel really confident that I can do it and I know from experience that it is all due to this instructor. P.S. I just clicked on this guys name and found about 20 or 30 more tutorials by him. I am excited since theres about five or six that I liked and signed up for. Most are free but for only a few does he charge any money. Even then its usually only about a dollar. Support good work we need to keep this movement going. Update: now that Ive completed another 5 tutorials they are getting more comprehensive. But the thing is that the instructor Bucky has such a calm and pleasing demeanor, even more intermediate topics are a breeze to learn. I hate to sound like a salesman, even though its free, but Id argue that this should be the first tutorial to start with. Hats off to Bucky for doing such a great job.
